Weather Conditions

Temperatures were around 29°C, and we had some rain at night (which often makes for great sleep).

This was perhaps the best opening week of fishing we’ve ever had, and it got off with a bang with the first fish landed being a 212cm monster! Arowana were also very active, and we had some great topwater action for them as well. Our friends Lance and Kevin also landed some amazing tambaqui. We are expecting an amazing 2019 season!

Total number of fish landed in the week: 72

Biggest fish landed during the week:

-Arapaima: 212cm
-Tambaqui: 52cm
-Arowana: 78cm
