Pirarucú Lodge Fishing Report 2025 | Hard Work, Big Rewards Week 9 October 20–25

The fishing this period demanded patience and focus, but the rewards were well worth the effort. As the waters shifted and the fish began repositioning, anglers adapted quickly, showing genuine commitment to the chase.

The result was a strong performance across the board, with significant numbers of arapaima landed and consistent action throughout. Among the highlights was a remarkable story of firsts—an angler on his very first jungle trip, and his first-ever fly-fishing experience, landing both a trophy peacock bass and a massive arapaima in the same week. It’s safe to say the Amazon left quite an impression.
