Pirarucú Lodge Fishing Report 2025 | Rising Waters, Unstoppable Spirit Week 10 | October 24 – November 1

As the water inched upward, fish behavior shifted noticeably. Some arapaima returned to smaller bays and flooded edges, making the hunt more technical at times. Yet the rising water also sparked short, powerful windows of activity that rewarded consistency and precision.

Arowana were extremely active, providing exciting surface shots every day. Tambaqui appeared in solid numbers, feeding aggressively around newly submerged areas. Between bursts of intense fishing and moments of quiet reflection on the river, the week captured the essence of what makes Pirarucú so unique—constant change, challenge, and reward.

 At 82 years old, Michael reminded everyone that passion for adventure has no age. On his very first day of fishing, he achieved a jungle grand slam—landing arapaima, tambaqui, and arowana.
